Purr Next Door
Now he'd like to write about it.
He watches everything that hoomans do, takes notes, and posts you a real paper envelope every month. Something analog to hold, in a world that mostly scrolls past.
Every new hooman gets one free letter to post to a friend.
Field footage. Unauthorised.

Posted flat, hand-stamped, arriving the way things used to arrive. Nothing in it needs charging.
Purr's notes on the hoomans below, written to you by name. Occasionally kind. Usually accurate.
Painted from the rooftop wall. A little piece of the view, made to travel. He insists someone somewhere deserves to see it too.
Thick board, printed both sides. He insists your table deserves better than a ring stain.
Four panels of neighbourhood events, retold with heavy editorial bias.
One small analog activity to do with your hands instead of your thumb. Phone face down.
A surprise, different every month. He has declined to describe it. We stopped asking.
One, three, six or twelve months. Tell us where the mailbox lives.
A fortnight of rooftop fieldwork, a week of writing, a week of complaining about writing.
A real envelope on your doormat, posted on the 1st. Then it happens again.
Subscribe and Purr writes one extra letter, free, to a friend of your choosing — posted to their address with a note saying who sent him their way.
“Dear stranger — a hooman I have never met thinks you'd like being watched. They were right.”

Reach out
Questions about shipping, gifting, bulk orders, or your own rooftop situation. He reads everything and replies to most of it, eventually.
Or the compliant hoomans employed by him: purrnextdoor@gmail.com
He needs at least a sentence to judge.

“I got the March letter on a bad Tuesday and cried at a coaster. Fully worth every coin.”
“I used my free letter on my brother. He called me for the first time in a year.”
“The unrot sheet made me sit on the floor and draw for an hour. No phone. Rare.”
Purr's letter is written by hand and printed on textured stock so it survives the post. Your name and address on the envelope are inked by an actual hooman.
Everywhere the post goes, shipping included. India arrives in 3–6 days; international in 10–18, depending on how many borders the envelope has to charm.
Every new hooman gets one. Add your friend's address while subscribing, or skip and we'll hold the credit — you can claim it any time by writing to Purr.
Yes. Each month continues his observations of the same street — the woman who rehearses arguments on her balcony, the man who waters a plastic plant. Start anywhere; he recaps.
Write to Purr with the new address before the 20th and he'll redirect his fieldwork without comment. Mostly.
A letter takes a month to reach you. The rooftop does not wait that long. So he files the small things there — one drawing, one overheard sentence, one hooman behaving oddly at a reasonable hour.
"Balcony 3B has started talking to the laundry. The laundry is winning."
"Third attempt at the orange of the 6pm wall. Two were lies."
"Nobody on the street looked up today. I stayed anyway. Someone has to."
